Noor Almarestani has three years experience in investment banking and entrepreneurship. Her investment banking deals covered various industries including real estate, automotive and retail. Noor later co-founded and co-managed a successful cupcake chain in Egypt. Almarestani has also freelanced on various Food & Beverage deals for Canadian & French concepts for their potential introduction in Egypt. She prepared the start-up business plans including the financial forecasts. She plans to continue to pursue entrepreneurship within the Food & Beverage industry. Nefi Falabella has three years of management experience in the IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, overseeing a business unit with operations in India, Ghana, United States, and Guatemala. He also amassed two years of experience in brand management for products of mass consumption in Central America. While working for two Fortune 500 companies he developed pricing strategies, product launches, market analysis, financial projections, and new business setups. A keen entrepreneur, Falabella established two family businesses in Guatemala in the events and food industry. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. |

David Lemieux has six years of experience in technological and cultural project development and management. His work with interactive media has taken him to over a dozen countries including China, Japan, Russia, Mexico, Brazil and Italy. He is involved locally in the management of businesses ranging from wellness services to gallery spaces. His experience in online, guerrilla and traditional marketing informs his strategic perspective. Tara Walker has over 15 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector and as a cultural entrepreneur. Focusing on the film, television and digital media industries, Walker led organizational change initiatives and developed strategic plans, trade expansion initiatives, advocacy campaigns, government relations, and business development programs for small to medium enterprises. She also co-launched and managed an internationally active product design company. In her current MBA studies, she is specializing in strategic management, sustainable business practices and marketing and is involved in the Concordia graduate student governing body and the JMSB Sustainable Business Group (JSG). Upon graduation, she aspires to establish an international career in consulting. |
