Pouya Seifzadeh

Full-time Lecturer, Department of Management

Pouya Seifzadeh joined the Department of Management at John Molson School of Business (JMSB) in 2011. He holds an MBA from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran. He is also a PhD candidate in Strategy at Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario. Seifzadeh’s work experience includes management of construction projects and Strategy Consulting. He was also the CEO of Iran’s first online bookstore for three years. Seifzadeh teaches courses on Contemporary Business Thinking (COMM 210) and Entrepreneurship (COMM 320).

Seifzadeh’s research is mainly in the area of Corporate Strategy. He has also conducted research in the areas of Institutional Logics, Organizational Memory, and Organizational Field Identity. His research has been presented in conferences such as Organization Science (OSWC), The European Group of Organization Studies Colloquium (EGOS), Strategic Management Society Annual Conference (SMS), and Administrative Science Association of Canada Conference (ASAC).
