Yaxuan Qi

Associate Professor, Department of Finance & Manulife Financial Professor in Financial Planning

Yaxuan Qi is an Associate Professor in Finance at the John Molson School of Business at the Concordia University, and a Junior Research Professor in Mathematical Finance at the Institut de finance mathematique de Montreal. She received her PhD in 2007 from the Rutgers Business School in New Jersey.

She obtained a BA in Economics from the Central University of Finance & Economics in Beijing in 1998, and a MA in Finance from the Renmin University of China in 2001. She won the first prize, Best Dissertation in Investments at FMA 2006 and the CIMIC PhD Student Research Excellence Award at Rutgers in 2007. Her main research area is Portfolio Choice and Asset Pricing, with a growing interest in Law and Finance.
