Independent & Visiting Students

Independent Students

Independent students may take a maximum of two courses per term, provided there is adequate space in the courses selected and that individual course prerequisites have been satisfied. Please note that since Independent Students are not enrolled in a Business program, we cannot guarantee seats in any of our Business courses.

Procedures and deadlines for enrolling at Concordia University as an Independent Student are available online at the Independent Students Office, or through the Birks Student Service Centre (SGW Campus, 1400 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West, room LB 185)

Visiting Students

Canadian visiting students who wish to register for courses at JMSB can do so by accessing the Web Registration System. If required, proof of prerequisite completion must be presented to the Undergraduate and Student Affairs Office, located at GM 201-01, prior to registration. Please allow sufficient time for processing of prerequisite assessment. Visiting students may register for courses based on space availability at the time of registration.

If you have received approval to take a course at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business you must provide proof of prerequisite completion to the Undergraduate and Student Affairs Office, located at MB 4.201 prior to registration. Please allow sufficient time for processing of prerequisite assessment. You should also bring a copy of your approval on the Crepuq interuniversity site.  Students may register for courses based on space availability at the time of registration.
