Admission Requirements

What if my home institution is neither a bilateral partner nor affiliated with CREPUQ?

If your home institution is neither a bilateral partner nor affiliated with CREPUQ, you cannot be considered as an exchange student at JMSB, but you can apply to study with us for a term or two as a Visiting International Fee Paying (VIFP) student. VIFP students must apply using the VIFP Application Form and receive written permission from their home institution to pursue courses at Concordia University. Unlike ISEP students, VIFP students pay tuition to Concordia University for the credits taken as a Visiting Commerce Student.

Please visit Concordia University's website to review tuition costs for VIFP students. VIFP students are eligible to take the same courses at JSMB as ISEP students.

VIFP Application Deadlines

  • June 1 for the Fall term
  • October 15 for the Winter term
Decisions regarding VIFP Applications are rendered within two weeks of receipt of completed applications. Students will receive their decision letters immediately via e-mail, as well as by regular post (with acceptance package information where applicable).
