The program examines international business issues from a strategic perspective while offering exposure to several disciplines including international management, marketing, finance, as well as international aspects of politics, economics, and sociology. Students benefit from the program’s practical orientation toward the exporting of goods and services, dealing with the challenges of a complex multicultural and multilingual marketplace, and exposure to the legal implications of operating within a global environment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Performing on-site audits of international standards procedures and implementation
  • Studying the implications and repercussions of international policy change on domestic and international markets
  • Local and international sourcing, allocation and distribution of industrial materials
  • Short and long term forecasts for product sales and competition in key markets
