John Molson Human Resources Association

Dear Members of Concordia University,

jmhra_logo.jpgWe are pleased to inform you that the John Molson School of Business now has its very own Human Resource association. The John Molson Human Resource Association (JMHRA) has been formed through the much needed enthusiasm initiated by Professor and Chair of Management Department Stéphane Brutus.   Since that very first effort, HR students have been brought together and have successfully established the importance of JMHRA and on June 26th 2009, the Board of Directors had finally approved the association.

We would like to thank everyone for their help in starting up JMHRA, from Stéphane Brutus to the executives of CASA and everyone else who have helped us along the way. The JMHRA team of 2009-2010 consists of HR students from various backgrounds and at different stages of their assiduous studies, who have come together in order to provide students with academic support and knowledge. Without any further ado, here is our executive team for 2009-2010:
  • President: Valérie Larochelle
  • VP Executive: Asima Uddin
  • VP Academic: Cristina Longo
  • VP Alumni: Scott Fisher
  • VP Communications: Yuan Ying Jessica Kuan
  • VP Events : Tanya Marple
  • VP Finance: Josie Tomasino
  • VP Human Resource : Melissa Romano
  • VP Marketing: Ke Xu
  • VP Sponsorship: Craig Fernandes

Our association will proudly be representing JMSB students in the Human Resource community all over Montreal. We will be the voice of JMSB’s Human Resource students and will host a variety of events throughout the year. We are dedicated to serving the student faculty by providing them with all the necessary tools and information to enable their success, enrich their university stay and complete their university experience.

We look forward to working with all of you and we hope to see you at our first event!
In the meantime, please feel free to visit our website at www.jmhra.com and let us know your thoughts.

Sincerely,
Executive Team of 2009-2010
