Dec 5: Canada’s CA Uniform Evaluation exam (UFE) Results 2008: Two JMSB Grads on UFE Honor Roll.
JMSB is pleased to announce that 82 of the 502 successful Quebec UFE candidates are graduates of our Chartered Accountancy program. A national total of 2,701 candidates passed the exam. On September 16-18 2008, UFE candidates spent three days writing three individual papers to demonstrate their mastery of accounting concepts and knowledge. Two candidates from JMSB, Derek Benson and Valentina Levina, are proud members of the 2008 UFE National Honor Roll of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA).  Congratulations to Derek, Valentina and fellow JMSB CA program graduates!

Sep 3: JMSB students achieve outstanding results on the CGA Professional Application exam written in June 2008. Riana Novikov received the highest grade in Canada for Financial Accounting; Hong Cui scored the highest grade in Quebec for External Auditing; and Huan Yu Amy Ssuto ranked second in Quebec for Taxation. Congratulations to all our JMSB students!

Sep 2: The Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations and the Van Berkom Endowed Chair in Small Cap Equities are pleased to announce the upcoming visit of Harvard Business School Professor, Dr. Michael Jensen.


Aug 29: JMSB student, Valentina Baratta, top in Quebec on the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA) National Knowledge Exam® (NKE). This standardized qualification exam is part of the CCHRA Certification process. The pass rate on the NKE last year was 65%, with an average score of 73% for Quebec's 150 applicants. Ms. Baratta's score on the exam was an impressive 93% - the highest score in Quebec!
Ms. Baratta received her BComm (HRM Major) from JMSB last year and is now HR Coordinator in the Creative Units of MEGA Brands.
