The Ottawa Accounting Competition is an undergraduate business

individuals in the following disciplines: managerial accounting,
financial accounting and tax.
We would like to congratulate the following teams who represented
JMSB at the Ottawa Accounting Competition 2007 and earned a podium
finish:
GOLD:
Managerial Accounting: Cathy Sit, Farinaz Bahmani, Nayla Chebli (shown in picture from left to right)
BRONZE:
Financial Accounting: Basel Arafe, Pat Gagnon, Alexandra Komourdjian
Tax: Maxie Lafleur, Faizan Maqsood, Josh Rotstein
There was also an individual aspect to the competition where all
competitors were required to complete a 25-question examination before
their case preparation, and the highest score would be awarded the
Golden Calculator Award. This year’s winner was JMSB’s Joshua Rotstein.
A very special thank you to all the faculty and staff that helped
the delegation achieve this impressive performance: Head Coach Mark
Haber, Gail Fayerman and Tara Ramsaran.
John Molson Competition Committee would like to thank the John Molson School of Business and the Commerce and Adminstration Students’ Association (CASA) for their generous support towards helping the JMSB delegation attend the competition.
