FORD/IARD is an unparalleled opportunity. This national program managed by the Office of the Comptroller General of Canada recruits and develops university graduates for entry –level positions in financial management and internal audit in government departments and agencies across Canada. As a FORD/IARD trainee, you will receive both formal and practical training. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas. Financial officers work in systems development, accounting operations, and financial planning and analysis. Internal auditors receive training in areas such as value-for-money, compliance and comprehensive audits. You will be encouraged and supported to work toward a professional designation such as CMA, CGA, CIA and you work experience qualifies for your chosen designation’s practical work requirement.
