Application Process

The following items must be submitted by the application deadline:

A non-refundable $100 (CAD) application fee paid online by credit card. - Application Form

Applicants must provide a Statement of Purpose indicating their reason for choosing the PhD in Business Administration and their selected option. - Student Questionnaire (Doc / PDF)
Applicants must complete and submit the Student Questionnaire along with their application. - Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Applicants must include an updated resume. - Letters of Reference (3)
Applicants must include at least two academic references (i.e. from former professors). The third may be a business reference. Reference providers must send forms and supporting letters directly to the Graduate Admissions Application Centre. Faxed copies and those delivered by students will not be accepted. Applicants must include official transcripts of all previous university studies. International applicants must provide official university documents confirming the degree(s) they have received. These documents must be translated into English or French if they are in another language. - Official GMAT Score
The minimum score required is 600. - Official TOEFL Score
A student whose primary language is not English must write a pre-admissions proficiency test (TOEFL iBT minimum score 90 or IELTS minimum score 7.0), if not exempted as indicated below. Test results must be reported directly to the Admissions Application Centre by the test centre. Results more than two years old will not be accepted as proof of language proficiency.
Exemptions:
- Quebec applicants who have completed a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) and a university degree in Quebec;
- A minimum of three full years of study either at the undergraduate or graduate level in an institution where the sole language of instruction is English.
- Proof of Canadian
Citizenship, Permanent Residence, or Refugee Status where applicable, applicants must include a certified copy of their birth certificate, Permanent Resident card, Canadian Citizen card, or Refugee Status papers.
