Program Overview

MBA with Complete CFA® Integration

Our flagship program, MBA in Investment Management, is the world’s only MBA program that fully integrates the requirements of the CFA program into its curriculum and is continuously updated to reflect changes in the market. Offered in the heart of Toronto and Montreal’s financial districts, this program is designed to expose students to current market trends and strategies in investment management. The core lecture material is developed in tandem with the CFA’s Candidate Body of Knowledge on a yearly basis. To accommodate the work schedules of our students, our classes are taught on Wednesday evenings (6:30 - 9 p.m.) and Saturdays (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.).

Required Courses (MBA)

Year 1 | Year 2 | Year 3

Master of Investment Management (MIM) & Diploma in Investment Management (DIM)

For candidates interested in focusing solely on investment management, the ideal programs are Master of Investment Management (MIM) and Diploma in Investment Management (DIM). MIM is designed for students who have already completed an MBA, while DIM is designed for students who are not interested in completing CFA requirements.

MBA vs MIM?

We offer the three-year MBA in Investment Management program (57 credits) and three-year Master of Investment Management program (45 credits). In these three academic years, we prepare our students to write all three levels of the CFA exams. The difference between choosing an MBA in Investment Management (MBA) or a Master of Investment Management (MIM) is that if you already have an MBA, we usually recommend that you choose our MIM program, which has 4 courses (12 credits) less than the MBA. They are Organizational Behaviour, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, and Management Information Systems. Here’s the link for more details on the curriculum. Please note, as of 2013, the tuition for MBA and MIM are the same, CA$18,000 per year for 3 years, i.e. CA$54,000 for the entire program.
