Fellowships & Awards
The Goodman Institute is pleased to offer the following fellowships and awards in recognition of academic excellence and to support graduate studies:
The Scotiabank Fellowships and Awards for exceptional performance.
Beginning in 2004 and for the next 10 years, a total disbursement of $25,000 will be distributed annually as follows:
- A $5,000 fellowship to the student who has received the highest GPA in the first year of the Program and who has passed CFA Level I
- A $5,000 fellowship to the student who has received the highest GPA in the second year of the Program and who has passed CFA Level II
- A $5,000 award to the student who has received the highest GPA in the third year of the Program
- A $10,000 award to the student in the third year who has achieved the highest GPA overall in the Program
The Lord Shaughnessy Master of Business Administration Fellowship in Investment Management.
Valued at $2,500/year, this fellowship is awarded to a first year student who meets all admission criteria. It is based on financial need and academic standing at the time of admission. This Fellowship began in 2005.
Goodman Institute of Investment Management Entrance Support Program.
This Program will grant six incoming students financial support for the academic year. Three students each, in both Montreal and Toronto, will be granted $9,000, to reduce their tuition in their first year of study, based on academic standing and GMAT at the time of application. All completed applications received by one or all of the following three deadlines, prior to the academic year entry will be considered: March 31st, April 30th and May 31st. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 upon completion of the Fall semester, to be granted support in the winter semester.
