1. Do I need work experience to be admitted to the Program?

No. Academic performance is the main criteria.

2. Are any courses eligible for credit or substitution if I am later admitted to the MBA program?

No. Courses taken in the GDBA are not eligible for credit or substitution in the MBA Program.

3. Do I need a commerce background to do well in the GDBA?

No. Although commerce students are eligible for admission, the program is specifically designed for non-commerce students.

4. How quickly can I complete the Program?

The diploma program consists of 30 credits (10 courses). Students can take up to five courses per term, but most students take four. Courses are offered in the fall and winter terms and selected courses are offered in the summer. Dedicated students can easily complete the diploma program in 12 months. The Certificate Program consists of 15 credits and can easily be completed within eight months.

5. Will I be a graduate of the John Molson School of Business when I finish this Program?

Yes. You will receive a JMSB diploma and be called for convocation. Whereas at some schools, graduate diplomas are offered through a continuing education department rather than through the university itself, this is not the case at JMSB.
