Each year, first-year EMBA students travel to an international destination. Participants typically visit three countries and meet with local managers, government officials, and academics to gain an understanding of the business environment in those cities, as well as to carry out a team project.
Destinations have included Vietnam, Hong Kong and Thailand (2002), Australia (2003), India (2004), the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland (2005), and China (2006), Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia (2007), Vietnam and China (2008), China (2009), Chile, Argentina and Brazil (2010).
