GMAT Testing

All applicants are required to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). This aptitude test measures quantitative abilities, verbal skills, and analytical writing. It is used as a diagnostic tool for assessing the suitability of candidates for the program. The GMAT is now administered as a computer-adaptive test (CAT) throughout North America and at many international sites.

For more information, please consult the GMAT website.

The GMAT code for the EMBA program is 9130N90.

There is no TOEFL required for the Executive MBA Program.

GMAT Preparation

One of the requirements for application to the EMBA is a satisfactory score on the GMAT. Some individuals prepare on their own to write the test, but for those who require more comprehensive preparation, a full-length GMAT course is available through the Centre for Continuing Education at Concordia University.

For more information about this course, please call the Centre for Continuing Education at (514) 848-2424, ext. 3602, or visit the Continuing Education website . For other options, please contact the EMBA office at (514) 848-2424, ext. 3697.
