What can and should a Board of Directors do in the event of a hostile bid? What role do investment bankers play in such situations? This presentation by Constance de Grosbois, Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at BMO Capital Markets, will address the strategic and tactical aspects of a successful defence strategy. The presentation will also include a case study of a recent hostile M&A situation.

Constance joined BMO Capital Markets in 2006 and has since built broad transaction experience across several industry sectors such as media, utilities, oil & gas, consumer products, retailing, infrastructure and biotechnology. Her focus is currently on M&A and restructuring advisory services. She has worked with clients such as RONA, Yellow Media and Gaz Metro.
