Dean's Award for Distinguished Scholarship
The purpose of the Dean’s Award for Distinguished Scholarship is to recognize and reward outstanding researchers thus further motivating research excellence in the John Molson School of Business. This award does not replace the University Researcher Award administered by the Office of the Vice-President, Research and School of Graduate Studies.
Three awards may be granted in each academic year. An award may be given for excellence in research to deserving faculty members in each of the following categories: a) Junior Scholar; b) Mid–career Scholar; and c) Senior Scholar.

2013 Petro-Canada Young Innovator Award
The Petro-Canada Young Innovator Awards Program (PCYIAP) was developed to recognize outstanding emerging researchers whose work is particularly innovative and contributes significantly to the learning environment of the university and potentially to society at large. Two awards valued at $10,000 each will be handed out.

2013 University Research Awards
The University Research Awards are granted to recognize research or creative achievements. Full-time faculty members in tenure-track or tenured positions are eligible to apply. Four awards valued at $5000 each will be handed out.

2013 Joe Kelly Graduate Award
The Joe Kelly Graduate Award will be given to a graduate student who has successfully defended his or her thesis in the PhD program in the academic year ending May 2013, and is a member of the graduating class. The award will be given on the basis of the quality and imaginativeness of the research. The award will be presented at Spring convocation and the recipient will receive $1,000.For full competition details click here.
The 2013 Uma and Mahesh Sharma Graduate Award
The Uma and Mahesh Sharma Graduate Award will be given to a graduate student who has successfully defended his or her thesis in the MSc program in the academic year ending May 2013, and is a member of the graduating class. The award will be given on the basis of the quality and imaginativeness of the research.
