E-learning
The JMEC’s Customized Programs provide the ultimate in flexibility. Working in collaboration with other divisions of Concordia University, the JMEC offers a wide range of interactive courses over the Internet. Several weeks of online courses include preliminary and follow up face-to-face sessions . The duration of such programs is flexible and based on the individual needs and schedules of the participants.One-on-One Training
The format of most of the JMEC’s programs can be adapted to allow delivery in the form of personalized, one-on-one sessions. These sessions can accommodate individuals or groups of 2-3 participants.Business Simulations
Certain JMEC training programs integrate computer-based simulations.
With the instructor acting as a facilitator, these simulations allow
participants, working in teams, to simultaneously learn and apply
various theories.
Working in collaboration with a number of simulation providers, the JMEC provides simulation-based learning that provides program participants with valuable hands-on experience. Program instructors act as simulation facilitators and guide the participants, working in teams, through these activities.
Experiential Learning
For certain training programs, incorporating a team-building exercise is recommended. In collaboration with specialized partners, the JMEC organizes off-site workshops that use games and friendly competitions to help participants improve interpersonal skills, strengthen team bonds and enhance communication.
