1. What class size do you recommend for a customized program?

The optimal size is from 8 to12 participants; however groups may range from 6 to 25 participants depending on the seminar type and topics addressed.

2. I feel I need more personalized advice concerning my company’s training options, what services can you offer?

The JMEC is constantly striving toward greater contribution to the business community. Part of our continued effort is our important training advisement service for business professionals. This entails the Centre offering the possibility of meeting with one of our representatives, at no cost (upon availability of our personnel). We facilitate an exploration of your needs and objectives with a program development professional, while completing your training plan.

3. Are your seminars available in French?

Although not all of our instructors are bilingual, most of them are. Nearly all seminars are made available in both official languages.

4. My company’s headquarters are not in Montreal, or even Quebec, can you still provide training for us?

Your company selects the place and time at which your private seminar will be delivered. The company simply needs to cover the transportation and accommodation for each instructor(s).

5. What is the usual duration for a customized program?

The length of the program depends on your needs and can be delivered at different intervals. It can be 1 to 3 consecutive days, a few days delivered within a month, several weeks within a year, and so on. The delivery schedule is very flexible and organized in function of your objectives.

6. What measures do you take to ensure confidentiality?

The JMEC always keeps information about your company and program confidential. If your program was customized with private company information, it will be only used for your organization’s future training. If so required by your company, our Centre can sign your confidentiality agreement form.

7. How can one ensure the credentials of your Instructors?

One of the key advantages of the Centre is the experience of our course instructors. We boast an impressive team of seminar leaders comprised of experienced industry consultants as well as senior faculty professors. Our speakers have worked with a variety of challenges, acquiring depth and breadth of knowledge from extensive consulting work and numerous years of teaching. Having worked to satisfy executives at every level, our speakers not only teach the concepts and techniques but also transfer key skills, coach, and provide feedback to each participant.

8. What are my options for the facilities used for a customized program?

You are welcome to pick the location of your choice according to your budget. Whether it is at a hotel, conference centre, at your place of business or at Concordia University, the instructor will come to you.

9. After the training is completed, will I still have access to any of the Executive Centre’s resources?

Our instructors are available up to 3 months after training to answer your questions by phone or by email.

10. I am looking for training for myself only and you do not have enough requests to run the seminar I am interested in. What can I do?

The format of most of our programs can be adapted to allow delivery in the form of personalized coaching. Coaching can accommodate individuals or groups of 2-3 participants at one time.

11. Is it possible to receive credit for these courses?

All the JMEC programs are private non-credit courses. Nonetheless, some of our project management programs offer PDUs upon request of the company, for participants who are looking forward to complete the exam of the PMI.
