Career Fair
Our annual Career Fair, held every fall, is the ideal venue for showcasing your organization and recruiting top-notch candidates from a variety of business disciplines.Information Sessions
Hosting an information session allows employers to promote their organizations and meet prospective candidates prior to upcoming campus interviews or other recruiting related activities. Well planned and informative information sessions can be an integral part of your overall campus recruiting strategy.Career Expo Day
Employer Expo Days provide an excellent opportunity for employers to meet interested and qualified candidates in an informal setting. Expos generally run for three hours and can be customized to meet your organization’s needs. We help coordinate the event and advertise your presence to our students.
A typical Expo Day session may include:

- Question and answer periods
- Informal gatherings
- Screening interviews
- Access to A/V equipment and set-up
- Access to catering services
- Résumé collection
Workshop Cafés
Throughout the year, CMS organizes weekly Cafés where representatives of various organizations address students on various topics related to career planning and job search strategies. Cafés are a great way for employers to offer students valuable insider job search “tips” and advice about specific industries and recruitment processes. Cafés take place in the afternoons and run for approximately one hour each. Coffee and cookies are served.Popular topics include:

On-Campus Interviewing
Employers who are interested in interviewing candidates on campus can use our interview rooms, which are made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our rooms fill up quickly, so we recommend that you reserve a room at least two weeks prior to your scheduled interviews.CMS Mission Statement
CMS’s mission is to ensure the use of effective career management strategies by our students, while building long-term relationships with our partners in the business community.
We will emphasize the application of modern career management principles to help our students distinguish themselves from their peers. We will be proactive in helping them develop the skills and confidence necessary to manage their talent and seize exceptional career opportunities, both now and in the future.
We will also build sustainable business partnerships with the Quebec, Canadian, and international business communities. We will develop key strategic alliances with our alumni, our faculty members, the JMSB executive, other Concordia University career management/ co-op centres, local business schools (e.g. HEC, McGill, UQAM), and business schools across Canada.
