As such, shareholders are willing to take action to affect change through proxy fights more than ever before – but does it work? Is Shareholder Activism really filling the value gap?  Eric Rosenfeld (Crescendo Partners L.P.) will join us to share his perspective on shareholder activism and whether or not it is truly effective. Eric Rosenfeld, President and Chief Executive Officer of Crescendo Partners L.P.
Prior to forming Crescendo Partners, Mr. Rosenfeld held the position of Managing Director at CIBC Oppenheimer and its predecessor company Oppenheimer & Co., Inc for 14 years. Mr. Rosenfeld was Chairman of the Board of Spar Aerospace Limited from 1999 through 2001, and has also been the non-executive chairman of the board of directors for CPI Aerostructures Inc. since January 2005. He has been on 18 public company boards in Canada and the US.
