Click here to view location on Google maps. Emotional intelligence is one of the most popular new scientific concepts among both researchers and practitioners. In this presentation I will provide a brief history of research on emotional intelligence in psychology and organizational behaviour. Then, I will present studies on how emotional intelligence is associated with real-world criteria such as job performance, career success, and prosocial and self-serving behavior.
