Concordia University's John Molson School of Business (JMSB) took home second place at the HR Symposium case competition, held this year at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. Over 300 students from across eastern Canada participated in the event. The weekend-long affair put their skills to the test in a variety of competition categories which included academics, quiz, social and sports. The JMSB teams’ strong performances and team spirit earned the delegation the runner-up spot behind the winners from the Telfer School of Management and ahead of third-place Université Laval.
JMSB was also recognized for its commitment to helping others at the competition. Miyoko Fulleringer won the Volunteer Award for her outstanding work at the competition, and coach Aaron Dresner was awarded the Prix de Reconnaissance for his incredible support of the HR Symposium and his dedication to JMSB case competition teams over the years.
