Jan. 18, 2011 - JMSB brought home another case competition title over the weekend. The Ryerson OBC victory is JMSB’s second consecutive win at the event. The Organizational Behaviour Case Competition (OBC) is Ontario’s premier Human Resources case competition. Until 2010, the event was reserved for Ontario business schools only. JMSB’s entry last year blew away the competition and the team took home the title.
In 2011, JMSB returned as defending champions and faced the challenge head on. Participants had two hours to read a case and twenty minutes to present their solution. During the final round, team JMSB was one of the three finalists. The students presented before a panel of nine judges who are primarily industry Human Resources professionals.
The winning team is composed of undergraduate students Allyson Ifergan, Manish Kapoor and Jessica Kuan. Aaron Dresner and Matthew Fishman were their HR coaches.
Final results:
- JMSB, Concordia University
- McMaster University
- Sir Wilfred Laurier University
