M
anagement Professor Paul Shrivastava joined JMSB less than a year ago and has already left his mark in a concrete and positive way in Montreal. The Director of the David O'Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise has been actively involved in promoting L'Itinéraire Magazine's mission by helping raise funds for the homeless. The magazine, in collaboration with Stationnement Montréal and the Ville-Marie borough, created the ParcoDon program to raise awareness and money for the less fortunate. Old parking meters were transformed into colorful piggybanks and placed throughout downtown Montreal. Donations benefit L'Itinéraire's programs for feeding the homeless.
JMSB is proud to announce that Dr. Shrivastava recently painted one of the 70 parking meters in the city. His work of art and compassion is located in front of the Hall Building on de Maisonneuve Boulevard West, between Bishop and Mackay streets. Students, faculty and friends are asked to donate their spare change to this very worthy cause. Dr. Shrivastava encourages everyone to contribute and has a jar of pennies near his office to share.
