June 23, 2010 - JMSB alumnus Richard Voyer (EMBA 07), General Manager at Soprema Canada, an industry leader in waterproofing products for roofs, was recently awarded the "
Best Employer in Quebec" prize in the 200 to 499 employees category. The award was presented by Emploi-Québec at a gala organized by Les Affaires, l'Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés and Towers Watson.
Voyer attributed much of his organization's success to Management Professor Steven Appelbaum's professional guidance. In addition, the Management Development, Performance Management and Succession Planning projects and products completed during the course were instrumental in helping Voyer develop the skills and momentum to win the award.
