Bachelor of Commerce student Anne Durning was recently awarded a 2010
EDC International Business Scholarship. She is among 30 winners across the country to receive the award from Export Development Canada. Durning described the award and impact of the scholarship by saying: "The Export Development Canada scholarship is intended to allow students to pursue their studies in international business. Having spent this past spring semester studying abroad in Southern California, the scholarship will allow me to apply for a second term abroad, ideally in Singapore in Fall 2010. I feel very fortunate to have won this scholarship as it has lessened my financial concerns and will allow me to focus more on my studies."
