Social Media: The Marketing Game Changer

Herman Tumurcuoglu has been on the front line of the Internet Marketing industry since 1996 and is an expert in search engine optimization. He is the founder and CEO of Mamma.com, a meta search engine which incorporates the inner workings of the leading search engines and their algorithms.

Please join us and welcome Herman Tumurcuoglu. He will give us his insights and expertise on:

  • Social Media Marketing Plan
  • Measuring Social Media

Herman holds a BComm from Concordia University and a Master’s of Management Studies from Carleton University. He has been consulting for large E-commerce companies in Canada and the United States for the last 7 years. His areas of expertise are SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Web Analytics.

He  was runner up of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year in 2000 and nominated for the top 40 under 40 executive in 2001.

Herman has been teaching new product strategy and innovation, strategic internet marketing and web analytics for internet businesses at McGill University and Concordia University for both graduates and undergraduate students. He has developed and will be teaching a Social Media Marketing course for MBA’s in January 2012.
