2009 Ottawa Accounting Competition

For the 3rd year in a row, JMSB delivered a solid performance at the Ottawa Accounting Competition, winning an award in each discipline. Universities from across Quebec and Ontario competed in four academic events in the 6th edition of the Ottawa Accounting Competition hosted by the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. The Ottawa Accounting Competition brings universities together to compete in teams of three in the following disciplines: managerial accounting, financial accounting and tax.

Congratulations to the following teams who represented JMSB at the competition:

GOLD: Tax: Penelope Sutton, Sanket Patel, Martina Petrova	GOLD: Financial Accounting: Sasha Lalonde, Abdullah Husein, June Svetlovsky
BRONZE: Managerial Accounting: Audrey Landry, Vimala Naidoo, Pooja Kapoor
