Second Annual Toy Drive

It is that time of year again and JMSB is having its second annual Toy Drive for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Child Life Department.
Last year’s collection was a great success thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Concordia community. More than 80 toys were collected and sent to the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the event organizers Eva Ferrara, Mona Senecal, Diane Pagnuelo-Boyle and Jay Mazzamauro are asking the community to open up their hearts to this worthy cause and bring a smile to a sick child’s face on Christmas morning.
“All we really need is the will”
This year’s goal is to surpass last year’s amount and collect more than 100 toys. The event organizers are relying on the enthusiasm and support from the members of the Concordia Community to make this happen.Unwrapped gifts may be dropped off at any of the locations below until Thursday, December 10, 2009. Wrapping will be done by the hospital, since volunteers will have to sort the gifts by age and gender. The toys will then be delivered by the wonderful elves from Distribution Services.
Please note that the hospital requests that there be no toys of a violent nature, and no used toys.
