March 28, 2011 – JMSB took home the title at Happening Marketing 2011. This is JMSB’s fifth victory at Happening Marketing since 2006; and seventh win over the last ten editions since 2002.
The 19th edition of Marketing Happening, held at l’École des Sciences de la Gestion de l’UQAM, gathered over 500 students from across Canada. The event is considered the largest inter-university marketing competition in the country. The 2011 theme, «s’ouvrir au monde passe par franchir ses propres frontières » or “a world without borders”, focused on all things international. Participants were put to the test in various categories: academics, sports and social. JMSB’s strong performances across all three areas earned the delegation the “Overall Gold” title. JMSB won the event with eight points over the competition. Desautels (McGill University) and ESG (UQAM) won second place and third place respectively.
