March 24, 2010 – Students Allyson Ifergan, Jessica Kuan, Christopher Labrecque, and designated alternate Kirsten Tiedje represented JMSB at the 25th annual Excalibur HR competition. 27 teams from across Canada participated in the competition organized by the CRHA (Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines).
The qualifying event consists of three case presentations; participants have 40 minutes to prepare a solution and presentation for each case. The team excelled in two cases but felt that they let one case get away. The competition was strong; and team JMSB did not reach the final round.
The final results were:
- Universite du Quebec a Montreal-École des sciences de la gestion
- HEC- Montréal
- University of British Columbia- Okanagan
